🎓 Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for this prestigious PhD position, applicants must meet both general and specific entry requirements:
- Academic Degree: A Master’s degree (second cycle) OR completed course requirements of at least 240 ECTS credits (including at least 60 ECTS at an advanced level).
- Subject Background: An academic background in Plant Biology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or a closely related field.
- Specific Credits: At least 90 ECTS in Biology or relevant subjects (like Chemistry, Physics, or Computer Science). Of these, a minimum of 15 ECTS must be directly relevant to the research topic, and 15 ECTS must be from an individual project course.
- Desired Skills: Familiarity with fundamental molecular biology techniques (PCR, DNA/RNA isolation, protein biochemistry) is highly advantageous. Experience in tomato cultivation and transformation is a big plus!
- Language: Excellent proficiency in both written and spoken English is required.
